Metaplanet will partially revise its Privacy Policy effective October 19, 2026.

The revision adds two purposes of use relating to procedures and communications for shareholders to "3. Purpose of Personal Information Usage."

The main changes are as follows.

Purposes of use to be added

• To carry out procedures required under the Companies Act and other laws, regulations, guidelines, etc.

• To provide information on the Group's IR matters and shareholder benefit program (by telephone, e-mail, mailing of catalogs and flyers, advertising, etc. (including advertising tailored to shareholders)), and to carry out administrative procedures for shareholders, such as the exercise of shareholder rights and the provision of shareholder services and benefits

The revised Privacy Policy will be available on the following page from the effective date.

Shareholders who hold our shares through a securities account in Japan can complete shareholder verification on our Shareholder Portal using their shareholder number and name.

The “How to Check Your Shareholder Number” page is now available, providing guidance on where to find the shareholder number required for verification.

Once verified, you can access portal-exclusive features, including shareholder benefits, invitations to exclusive events, XP, badges, and leaderboards.
