What is a Record Date?
The Record Date (権利確定日 / 基準日) is the specific date used to determine which shareholders are entitled to rights such as voting at general meetings and receiving dividends. Portal verification and our Shareholder Benefits Program are determined based on the shareholder register as of this date.
How It Works
Verification is automatic. We update your holding status based on the shareholder register compiled by our register administrator as of the record date.
No action required — your status updates automatically.
You must manually upload proof of shareholding (e.g. a brokerage statement) for each new record date.
Action required — upload a current statement from your broker when a new record date is published.
